Booking & Planning
How do I book a private tour?
The simplest way is to send us a WhatsApp message at +30 698 095 9099 or use our contact form. Tell us your travel dates, group size, and interests. We respond within 4 hours during business hours (08:00–20:00 Greek time) and confirm your itinerary and price by email.
How far in advance should I book?
For peak season (July–August), book 6–8 weeks ahead. For shoulder season (May–June, September–October), 2–3 weeks is usually sufficient. We do accept last-minute bookings when availability allows — contact us and we will tell you immediately whether your dates are open.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes — we require a 20% deposit to confirm your reservation. The balance is paid on the day of your tour before departure. We accept bank transfer, PayPal, credit card, and cash. No booking fees are charged.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the tour. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice: 50% of the deposit is retained. No-shows or same-day cancellations: full deposit retained. Weather cancellations (where the tour genuinely cannot run safely) are always rescheduled or refunded in full.
Can I change the itinerary after booking?
Yes — until 24 hours before departure. We are flexible about route adjustments and additions. If you decide the morning of the tour that you prefer a beach to a gorge, tell your guide and they will adapt.

What is included in the price?
All tours include: licensed guide, private air-conditioned vehicle, entrance fees, and one meal. Multi-day packages also include hotel bookings and inter-island transport. Not included unless specified: flights, personal spending, and alcoholic drinks beyond what’s included in a tasting.
Do you have group discounts?
Yes — groups of 5 or more receive 10–15% discount. For groups of 10+, please contact us for a tailored group quote. We offer corporate and incentive travel packages for larger groups.
Logistics & Practical
Where do tours start?
We pick you up at your hotel, port, or any other agreed location across Crete. There is no central meeting point — we come to you.
Do you offer transfers from Heraklion Airport?
Yes — private airport transfers are available from Heraklion (HER) and Chania (CHQ) airports to all hotels across Crete. See our transfers page for prices and vehicle options.
Do you organise tours for cruise ship passengers?
Yes — this is one of our specialities. We work with cruise passengers in Heraklion, Chania, and Souda ports. We track your ship’s schedule and guarantee return to port before departure. See our shore excursions page for pre-built cruise tour options.
Are your guides licensed?
Yes — all our guides hold official Greek Ministry of Tourism guide licences. They are not drivers who double as commentators — they are professional guides who know the history, ecology, and culture of Crete to an academic standard.
Do you offer tours in languages other than English?
Our primary language is English. We can arrange guides in German, French, and Russian on request, subject to availability. WhatsApp communication is available in English, Greek, Russian, and German.
