It is the property of the monastery of Chrysoleontissas, located on the opposite island of Aegina, hence the name. The only permanent residents of this protected area are wild animals and birds (goats, deer, peacocks, etc.), which, however, are so accustomed to tourists that they are happy to feast on them from your hands if you do not forget to stock up on some treats for them.
Our second stop is Aegina Island. The island is particularly well-known for its marketplaces, structures, and Apollo and Aphaia temples. After a delectable seafood lunch, you will have free time to swim, explore the island, or peruse the markets.
