The Palace of Knossos is the monumental symbol of the Minoan civilization due to its construction, use of luxury materials, architectural plan, advanced building techniques, and impressive size. The 1-hour visit will be led by a professional licensed guide.
We follow up with a visit to one of the traditional picturesque villages of Crete, Archanes, where each corner invites a new colorful experience. You will relax and try a Greek coffee on the main square, just like the locals.
We finalize the tour with a visit to the Cretan family winery, where you will try five different varieties of wine supplemented with a local cheese plate. Along the guided tour, learn how wine is made from various grapes and how the unique semi-mountainous environment influences the flavor.
