Knossos palace, archanes village & cretan family winery

Our guide will pick you up at the gate of your hotel.

*You must wear comfortable clothes and shoes, a hat, and put on sunscreen (use on all parts of your skin exposed to the sun, including the ears, back, shoulders, and the back of the knees and legs). Among your personal belongings you will have with you on a tour, please have cash for paying your expenses (some shops do not accept credit cards).

Our way will first lead to Knossos Palace, which was the ceremonial and political center of the Minoan civilization and culture. The Palace of Knossos is the monumental symbol of the Minoan civilization due to its construction, use of luxury materials, architectural plan, advanced building techniques, and impressive size. The 1-hour visit will be led by a professional licensed guide.

We follow up with a visit to one of the traditional picturesque villages of Crete, Archanes, where each corner invites a new colorful experience. You will relax and try a Greek coffee on the main square, just like the locals.

We finalize the tour with a visit to the Cretan family winery, where you will try five different varieties of wine supplemented with a local cheese plate. Along the guided tour, learn how wine is made from various grapes and how the unique semi-mountainous environment influences the flavor.
