Sightseeing tour “Cretan kaleidoscope”

Our guide will pick you up at the gate of your hotel.

*You must wear comfortable clothes, and comfortable shoes; there are sections with ascents and descents along the route; bring a hat; and put on sunscreen (use on all parts of your skin exposed to the sun, including the ears, back, shoulders, and the back of the knees and legs). Among the personal belongings you will have on a tour, please take cash for paying personal expenses and swimming accessories.

Our path leads us to the Curtagletico Gorge, where we can see the eagles flying out to hunt. We will make a photo stop at one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Crete. You will see the famous Preveli palm forest against the backdrop of mountains and the turquoise sea.

The next stop is the Holy Stavropegic Patriarchal Monastery of Preveli. The miraculous holy cross in the monastery, a gift from the rector, Preveli Ephraim, contains in its base a large part of the Cross of the Lord and, according to legend, was brought from Constantinople.

On this trip, we have a unique opportunity to visit the Libyan Sea; we will go to Damnoni Beach for swimming. We can bet that you will not find this color of water in Crete everywhere!

During lunch, you can enjoy Cretan cuisine in one of the best taverns in Crete. The panoramic view of the Libyan Sea from the tavern is simply amazing. Our guide will tell you about the peculiarities of Cretan cuisine and the most delicious dishes on the island.

Then we lay the road to the north through the Kotzifu Gorge. Once again at the Cretan Sea, in the north of the island, we make a stop in the city of Rethymno, where it is pleasant to be in the evening to stroll imposingly along its narrow streets. A beautiful and romantic ending to a wonderful day that you will certainly keep in your memory.
